Cette signature avec Métal Blade ouvre de nouveaux horizons au groupe et lui permettra enfin de toucher le grand public et pas n’importe lequel, car Fueled by fire est un véritable retour aux sources des années 80/90 principalement influencé des plus grands de l’époque tel que : Metallica , exodus, testament, kreator ,onslought… et bien d’autres. La pochette de l’album est assez explicite sur ce que contient l’album donc pas de surprise, c’est du véritable thrash comme il ne s’en fait plus depuis une décennie… L’album commence par un titre instrumental de 2 minutes pour nous mettre dans le bain, le son ressemble à ce qui se faisait à l’époque, ce qui crédibilise encore plus le groupe, l’ensemble est accentué par des rythmiques imparables, et un chant extraordinaire qui convient à merveille au concept musical . Inutile de chercher une faiblesse à Fuel by fire ce groupe intègre nous donne une bonne leçon de «True heavy metal » L’album est bon du début à la fin et offre en bonus deux titres…thrash is back ! c’est le cas de le dire et vous ne serez pas déçu. Avec cet album le groupe n’aura pas de mal à séduire le public le plus glorifiant de la FONBM, tous les éléments sont pour que les fans des plus gros groupes de thrash adhèrent sans compromis à cette résurrection du style malheureusement en voie de disparition.
Epica
Title: The Divine ConspiracyEpica is, for those who do not still know, a group in the speeds symphonic operated, led by a fast and progressive tempo, dominated very widely by a feminine mixed singing and chorus-singers. This album will escape the rule and will stay very "Epica" as on their previous album. The unconditional fan of the group will have no unpleasant surprises. Epica rhymes with big production, thus level sound it is forcing excellent and pleasant to the listening. This production benefits from vocal arrangements and also at the level of synthesizers to return this effect of operetta more credible and grander than a simple group of symphonic metal. Even if we like not this music style, we can only admit of the group that the musicians are very hardly and relatively well inspired during the composition. This album in the speeds(looks) abstract takes place between the opera and the progressive heavy which here make good household and harmonizes in the perfection. The set wants more emotional person than rough, although the saturated guitars are lead throughout the album in rhythmic main and bring the part of aggressiveness which classifies this music in the beam metal. Thus metalheads in search of brutality go your way, and for those for whom the metal owes be more imperial and refined this album will be probably a reference.
Epica est, pour ceux qui ne connaissent pas encore, un groupe aux allures symphonique opéra, mené par un tempo rapide et progressif, dominé très largement par un chant féminin et choristes mixte. Cet album n’échappera à la règle et restera très « Epica » comme sur leur précédent album. Le fan inconditionnel du groupe n’aura pas de mauvaises surprises. Epica rime avec grosse production, donc niveau son c’est forcement excellent et agréable à l’écoute. Cette production bénéficie d’arrangements vocaux et aussi au niveau des synthétiseurs pour rendre cet effet d’opérette plus crédible et grandiose qu’un simple groupe de métal symphonique. Même si on aime pas ce style de musique, on ne peut qu’admettre du groupe que les musiciens sont très fort et relativement bien inspiré lors de la composition. Beaucoup d’horizons thématiques sont exploités: classique, opéra, acoustique et des rythmes plus orientaux. Tout cela fait de « The divine conspiracy » un album complet et incontournable. Cet album aux allures conceptuel se place entre l’opéra et le le heavy progressif qui ici font bon ménage et s’harmonise à la perfection. L’ensemble se veut plus émotif que brutal, bien que les guitares saturées s’imposent tout au long de l’album en rythmiques principales et apporte la part d’agressivité qui classifie cette musique au rayon métal.
Donc métalleux en quête de brutalité passez votre chemin, et pour ceux pour qui le métal se doit d’être plus impérial et raffiné cet album sera probablement une référence.
Pour ceux qui croient que le death métal à idéologies sombre et profane a disparu de la scène et ne vie plus que par ses icônes inébranlable tel que : Morbid angel, Immolation, Deicide … Aeon prouve que le penchant satanique auquel le death c’est forgé une réputation depuis 90 reste toujours d’actualité.Avec cet album brutal, basé sur les vraie valeurs du death metal, le groupe va droit au but en imposant une musique agressive, dépourvu d’arrangements et de rythmiques excentriques qui ne veulent pas dire grand chose dans ce genre de musique.La production n’est ni trop bonne ni trop mauvaise mais parfaitement adaptée. Elle rappelle dans le son et les composition les premiers albums de Deicide. Les vocaux et les rythmiques en sont aussi probablement inspirés. Ce serait probablement le seul reproche que l’on pourrait faire à ce groupe. Trop ressembler à un autre peut susciter de mauvaises réactions vis à vis du public . Mais dans le cas présent, pas de craintes a avoir car ça ressemble mais c’est pas non plus la même chose.« Rise to dominate » est un bon retour aux sources qui devrait satisfaire le public death des années 90.
For those who believe that the death metal with dark and profane ideologies disappeared from the stage and not life more than by its icons unwavering such as: Morbid angel, Immolation, Deicide … Aeon proves that the satanic tendency in which the death it is forged a reputation since 90 always stays of current events.With this rough album, based on true values of the death metal, the group goes up to the purpose by imposing an aggressive music, Devoid of arrangements and rhythmic eccentric which do not mean much in this music kind. It would be probably the only criticism which we could make to this group.Too much to look like the other one can arouse bad reactions face to face of the public. But in this case, no fears has credit note because that looks like but it isn’t the same matter." Rise to dominate " is a good return to basics which should satisfy the death public the 90s.

Title: Guitar Work - Part 1The Opening of this Cd starts with a synth pad, and some shredding over it. It follows the chords and is pretty interesting. he hits some pretty good velocity no real melody, but shows his skills . Planetarium is the next up, cool vibe, the mood of the track is pretty ambient. He lay out a Buckethead influence. Natural disaster he is at his melodic best and really fits the mood of the track. Ocean is another cool melodic track. Cool tones too! Metal zone 1 is a shred fest and its fun to listen too. The rising sun has a cool acoustic vibe over the programmed beats, Hard Times is a great tune which shows off his chops and melodic flair. All in all it’s a well-produced CD, if you like melodic guitar with some shredding give it a listen !
L’album commence avec une partie de synthé sur lesquels quelques plans de shred viennent se greffer. Cela suit les accords et c’est assez intéressant. Stéphane envoie des plans avec une belle vélocité sans vraiment de coté mélodique, mais il montre sa maîtrise de l’instrument. Planetarium est le titre qui suit avec un côté très «ambiant». Il nous montre une influence Bucketheadienne. Natural disaster est peut être la piste la plus mélodique et cette mélodie colle parfaitement à l’humeur du titre. Ocean est un autre titre mélodique, qui est lui aussi un morceau cool ! Metal zone 1 est un festival de notes et il est vraiment sympa à écouter. The Rising sun à une belle ambiance acoustique sur la batterie programmée, Hard Time est un super titre qui contient des bons plans de guitare et montre bien le sens mélodique de Stéphane. Au final il s’agit d’un cd bien produit, si vous aimez la guitare mélodique avec des plans shred, jetez-y une oreille!
Exodus

The title of the album and the songs brings more precision on the subject. Contrary to many bands, Exodus not it is eased in time on the contrary, they return more explosive than ever... Exodus did not lose in time, the values of the thash metal, they prove it with this new album of real thrash US executed marvelously by these 5 musicians. The voices are very typical: pointed and aggressive with however passages chorus in the tune as for example on the title " Children of has worthless god ". The whole is put on rhythmic very dynamic and powerful, even more stressed by a monumental sound deserving of a méga production. For a group such as Exodus, it is exactly what what needed for them. No title is to be thrown , the whole album is allowed listen to from the beginning to the end. All the elements which make an album of trash made a success are anticipates: aggressive irritating singing, incisive guitars with variable tempos, a drum kit mistreated well by his drummer who knocks dry and a set which aim during a concert, to make the disorder reign and the Chaos!
Le groupe légendaire de thrash est de retour avec un album des plus surprenants et en même temps conventionnel. La couverture est assez explicite et annonce un album qui inspire la violence orientée vers une idéologie religieuse. Le titre de l'album et des chansons apporte plus de précisions sur le sujet. Contrairement à beaucoup de groupes Exodus ne c'est pas adouci avec le temps bien au contraire les revoilà plus explosif que jamais... Exodus n' a pas perdu avec le temps les valeurs du thash métal ils le prouvent avec ce nouvel album de véritable thrash US exécuté a merveille par ces 5 musiciens. le chant reste lui aussi très typique : aigu et agressif avec toutefois des passages chorus dans le refrain comme sur le titre « Children of a worthless god ». Le tout posé sur des rythmique très dynamiques et puissantes, encore plus accentué par un son monumental digne d'une méga production. Pour un groupe tel que Exodus c'est exactement ce qui leur fallais. Aucun titre n'est a jeter, l'ensemble de l'album se laisse écouter du début a la fin. Tous les éléments qui font un album de trash réussi sont pressent: chant irritant agressif , guitares incisives a tempos variable une batterie bien maltraitée par son batteur qui frappe sec et un ensemble qui as pour but lors d'un concert, de faire régner le désordre et le Chaos ! Les vétérans nous donne une fois de plus une leçon, ce qui les distingues des autres c'est leur expérience, ils prouvent une fois de plus qu'ils règne en maître dans un style ou ils sont, il faut le rappeler au petits jeunes des précurseurs.
Scale The Summit
Title: MonumentThese guys can play. Double bass, odd meters, insane Bass playing. Chris, the guitarist is nuts, as are Jordan, Pat and travis (also guitars). Monument is kinda like experimental prog, I see a Zappa-esque vibe to the tunes. The production is tight, the grooves are cool, even the odd meter stuff grooves. There are a few tracks that really jumped out at me, “crossing the Ocean " has great dynamics. “rode in on horseback" reminds me of a bit of if Bumblefoot jammed with maiden. "Penguines in Flight " is a cool track and it flows well. Great riffs, if you like Prog, rock, and experimental, these guys remind me of a mix between Ozric and Dream Theater with odd Zappa DNA . Check these guys out!!!
Ces mecs savent jouer. Double grosse caisse, mesures asymétriques, un jeu de basse assez dingue. Chris, le guitariste est cinglé, tout comme Jordan, Pat et Travis (aussi guitariste) Monument est un peu comme du prog expérimental. Je vois une ambiance Zappa-esque dans les titres. La production est léchée, les grooves sont cool, et même quand les mesures sont impaires. Quelques titres m’ont littéralement assailli, comme « Crossing the Ocean » et sa superbe dynamique. « Rode in Onhorseback » fait penser à un bœuf entreBumblefoot et Maiden. « Penguines in flight » est un titre cool et déboule bien. De très bon riffs si vous aimez le prog, le rock et l’expérimental, ces mecs me rappellent un peu un mélange entre Ozric et Dream Theater avec une ADN étrange de Zappa. A écouter franchement.
Mind's Eye

We can say that it is a complete and successful album in general. The variety of the used vocal techniques, enriched the album and allows better one sticks of the whole disk. It is necessary to clarify that the album lasts more than one hour it is very long. Thus difficult to captivate the listener up to the end of a project so ambitious. Some element abstract integrated into the album bring surprises for example: symphonic breaks and theatrical. The negative and at the same time positive point of the album, is that we feel too much the influence of the mythical group " Queensrÿche " and more particularly the most cult album " Operation: Mindcrime ". It is likely that the fans of Queensrÿche find their happiness there or see vulgar one copy there. On this point there, the notices risk to be mitigated. But in general, we can congratulate the band with having made a success of such an album concept with very good and very well interpreted ideas, An indisputable musical conception and especially, end in a result which is out of the ordinary.
Mind's eye sort sont 6° et nouvel album intitulé « A gentleman hurricane » les suédois reviennent plus motivés que jamais ! quelle bonne nouvelle pour les adeptes de progressif heavy métal. Apres un début d'album déroutant et difficile à digérer, le groupe se lance enfin après quelques minutes et propose son heavy métal très inspiré. Le son est propre mais manque légèrement de puissance. Les compositions sont complexes et surprenantes, le groupe a su faire preuve de créativité. On peux dire que c'est un album complet et réussi dans l'ensemble. la diversité des techniques vocales utilisées, enrichi l'album et permet une meilleure accroche de l'ensemble du disque. Il faut préciser au passage que l'album dure tout de même plus d'une heure. Donc difficile de captiver l'auditeur jusqu'au bout d'un projet aussi ambitieux. Plusieurs élément conceptuels intégrés à l'album apportent des surprises tel que des entractes symphoniques et théâtral. Le point négatif et en même temps positif de l'album, c' est que l'on ressent trop l'influence du groupe mythique « Queensrÿche » et plus particulièrement l'album le plus culte « Operation: Mindcrime ». C'est probable que les fans de Queensrÿche y trouvent leur bonheur ou y voient une vulgaire copie. Sur ce point là, les avis risquent d'être mitigés. Mais dans l'ensemble, on peux féliciter le groupe d'avoir réussi un tel album concept avec tout de même de très bonnes idées très bien interprétées, une conception musicale indéniable et surtout aboutir à un résultat qui sort de l'ordinaire
House Of Shakira

It misses that all the same the exceptional touch which would make of "House of Shakira" an inescapable of the kind(genre), because it is difficult to find negative to this group which executes in the perfection its art by assuming every picture whom imposes this music kind. As regards the production the sound is very good and call remind in more appropriate that of the 80s. The set remains any time above average, in spite of it will not probably be an inescapable.
Après un court titre introductif en duo piano vocales aux allures mélancolique, le groupe se dévoile être un genre de heavy métal orienté glam très inspiré des années 80 qui se rapprocherais plus du style poison, mais aussi skid raw , warant ... avis aux amateurs de ce style révolu depuis plus de 15 ans. donc rien à voir avec un style heavy oriental que pourrait inspirer le nom du groupe "House of Shakira". le style n'est du coup pas très original mais reste très bien interprété par le groupe. Les rythmiques guitares s'accordent bien avec les solos excellents, le chanteur n'as rien à envier aux chanteurs de glam les plus renommés des années 80. Des cœurs s'ajoutent aux refrains, qui accentue encore plus le style glamour. Il manque tout de même la touche exceptionnelle qui ferais de "House of Shakira" un incontournable du genre, car il est difficile de trouver des point négatif à ce groupe qui exécute à la perfection son art en assumant tous les cliché qu'impose ce genre de musique. En ce qui concerne la production le son est très bon et rappelle en plus propre celui des années 80. L'ensemble reste toute fois au dessus le la moyenne, malgré qu'il ne sera probablement pas un incontournable.
